Come Close to Me

Come close to Me, says the Lord.  I Am not intimidating.  I Am your confidant, your friend, your companion, your lover.  I will not harm you, but help you.  I will not condemn you, but I will receive you, welcome you, accept you.  I will not burden you, but bless you. I will not dishonor you, but honor you.  I will not refuse you, but receive you graciously.  You can approach Me fearlessly, for My love for you is genuine, unfeigned, powerful, and yet gentle, says the Lord.

There is no fear in love, says the Lord.  When you have assurance of acceptance from Me, you will trust intimacy.  I will not harm you, but I will heal you, revive you, refresh you, and give you unspeakable gifts as you come into My presence, where you will experience joy that you will never receive from any other source.  It is My desire for you to experience my infinite love and fellowship as I draw you close to Me and embellish you with My love and joy and peace, says the Lord.
